The Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Development Branch/Water Development Section is responsible for a large number of wildlife water developments/catchments throughout the state. These developments primarily provide water to wildlife during the hot dry summer months when water is scarce, although many wildlife species use these water sources throughout the year.
The Yuma Valley Rod & Gun Club was established in 1936. We pride ourselves in being at the forefront in conserving Arizona's land and wildlife. Our club provides a wide variety of activities for its members. We hold numerous fishing and hunting events each year, as well as opportunities to participate in wildlife habitat improvement projects and water hole projects. One of our most important and informative programs are our hunter education classes, provided free of charge.
Visit our booth each year at the Yuma County Fair inside the "big metal building. Come learn about wildlife, view our displays and chat with us while you sign up for our raffle!
